A bouquet of flowers is a composition made up of different types of flowers grouped together and connected by strings, ribbons or rubber bands. The bouquet of flowers is usually made to be given to people at special times in their lives or on special occasions. Giving a bouquet of flowers also has a special meaning when one wishes to express specific feelings, such as love, passion, envy, jealousy or good wishes. Composing a beautiful bouquet of flowers is not difficult, in any case it is a question of choosing the right composition, which, for special occasions, must be entrusted to specialized florists. The bouquet of flowers can be made up of a single floral species or several varieties, in order to “break” the monotony of monochromatic tones and give color and creativity to the whole bouquet. There are also bouquets of real and fake flowers. Real flowers can also be dried, to always combine with fresh flowers to give a touch of creativity to the whole bouquet. When the bouquet is made according to a very specific objective and with compositions of high artistic value, we speak of a bouquet.

The word “bouquet” comes from French and indicates A bouquet of flowers.elegantly composed. The bouquet of flowers called “bouquet” has very ancient origins: it was probably used in the Arab world when the bride and groom offered it to future brides to mark the end of dating. It would have taken the Arabs during their conquests to introduce the use of the bouquet in other countries. From the 9th century, the bouquet made its appearance in Sicily and then in France, until it spread, in the following centuries, to Germany and the United States. The meaning of the bouquet is closely related to love, courtship, engagement and marriage. In fact, in Western culture, the bouquet is precisely the bouquet of flowers for a wedding. This composition can also be given on the occasion of other ceremonies, such as graduations, confirmations and communions, but the main custom is to give it during marriage. Concretely, it is the groom who gives the bouquet to the bride before taking her to the altar. The bouquet must be chosen a few days in advance by identifying the appropriate composition with the florist in charge of creating the bouquet. In the past, the flowers used to make wedding bouquets were orange, white, small, fragrant flowers that traditionally indicated the purity and “chastity” of the bride. From this custom derives the term “orange blossom” to indicate an impending marriage ceremony. Over the years and the evolution of customs and traditions, bouquets have also been made with other varieties of flowers, including the essential white roses. In fact, two bouquets are made on the wedding day: what the groom will give the bride and what he will wear for the pictures when he leaves his house. The bouquet for the photos of the bride before going to the altar is smaller than the one that the groom will give to his beloved as soon as they are in front of the church. Generally, the “provisional” bouquet is chosen by the bride, while the one that the groom will offer to his future bride is chosen by the groom himself. For a question of beauty and elegance, the style of the two bouquets should coincide, so they must have the same type of flowers, the same colors and the same size, with two different sizes: the temporary one is smaller, the larger official. How to choose
The bridal bouquet should not be chosen only according to personal taste, but also according to the dress of the bride. It is a good idea for the groom to find out about the general characteristics of the dress chosen by the bride so that it matches the right bouquet. To know which dress the bride will wear, it is not necessary to see the dress beforehand (which according to tradition brings bad luck), but it is enough to ask a knowledgeable relative the color and the length of the dress. If the dress is long, it is better to combine a voluminous bouquet with large flowers, while if it is short, a bouquet of smaller diameter and flowers is more suitable. If the wedding dress is made with a train, a bouquet with flowers hanging outside is perfect. The color of the bouquet should match the color of the wedding dress as much as possible. For the white or cream coat, fluffy flowers are de rigueur, while for pink or red speckled coats it is useful to enrich the bouquet with speckled flowers in the same tones as the coat.
