It has also been specifically formulated with polyurethane resin to offer many advantages: it does not flake off, it is perfectly resistant to bad weather but also to UV rays. Its application is ultra-easy because it does not run and does not stick to the brushes (which are then simply cleaned with water). My opinion : Syntilor is clearly a trusted brand, and it proves it again here with this anti-corrosion paint. Besides the fact that it could cover a bit more (one coat is usually not enough to adequately protect metals, especially if they are heavily oxidized), it is very easy to apply, it doesn’t really run (which is handy when you have to paint on verticals, for blinds for example) and is generally of excellent quality. But if this range is my favourite, it’s because it offers a wide variety in terms of colors: you don’t have to settle for the classic black, white and gray, you can totally opt for a green Basque or an intense red. What to take advantage of to give at the same time more cachet to your exteriors!

No prior base coat! With Ripolin Extreme antioxidant, it is possible to directly repaint all surfaces, whether rusty, raw or even painted. Multi-support, this paint can be applied to railings, fences, barriers as well as wrought iron furniture and even adheres to iron supports previously painted with glycerine. Designed to offer a lasting result, it is perfectly resistant to bad weather, UV rays and shocks. Its application is also extremely simple since it only requires a short-haired lacquer roller or an glycero brush for an optimal finish. (It is available in a 2L canister or a smaller 0.5L canister.) Dry to the touch after only 12 hours, finally recoatable after 24 hours, enough to finish the job quickly!
My opinion : If you are new to the application of anti-rust paint and are looking for the product that will make this experience as pleasant as possible, I advise you to choose this Ripolin. In fact, it is one of the best, both in terms of application and results. I found that it offered good coverage from the first coat, it was very easy to apply even with a roller and a little bonus, it doesn’t smell too bad and it dries quite quickly! If you pay attention to the small drops that may occur, the result will be excellent. And since it’s available in all the most popular colors, gloss and matte, you should have no problem finding what you want or need!

My opinion : Although almost all rust paints are offered in equivalent price ranges, this Avi is, in my opinion, good value for money thanks to the few euros it can save you, especially in a large 2L container. your expectations: it offers effective protection against corrosion and I confirm that it covers well from the first coat, in particular because it is quite compact and stretches well. It’s not the easiest to apply for beginners and it smells just as strong, but it makes up for it by offering different colors (including a variation of grey) as well as small bottles just in case. It is therefore a good choice: you will be satisfied with its results.

A 3 in 1 anti-rust paint! Professional quality Fonteino leaves no detail unaltered: base, finish and protective layer, it acts at all levels from the first application. My opinion : If you don’t want to leave anything to chance and want to bet on a professional quality anti-rust paint, with this Fonteino you have to repaint your fences, your railings or your garden table. It is of excellent quality and the results it shows are quite impressive. It is thick enough not to run and covers well while being very easy to apply (roller or brush). Depending on the condition of your irons and metals, you may need a second hand, but the protection will be optimal in any case. The colors available are not the most original but they serve their purpose. As for the smell, it is present but not to the point of being unbearable, especially outdoors. For a professional finish and good durability, this is one of your best options!

An antioxidant treatment with immediate effect! Rubson Frameto spray paint (lead and solvent free) has been specially formulated to act quickly: it is applied directly to the rusted surface and acts in as little as 5 minutes. My opinion : I had to show you the best anti-rust spray paint to complete this selection! Although it is not the most complete model, having a spray is on the other hand very useful to immediately protect any surface from corrosion (even those that are difficult to access). Plus, you don’t have to get all the gear out! Knowing that this is a protective coat and therefore you will need to apply a topcoat afterwards, you will be pleased with the performance of this Rubson Frameto. The spray is uniform, covers well, protects well, the aluminum gray was a good idea to easily see where the spray went and if you let it dry well for at least 24 hours, repainting is child’s play. Ideal as a practical and instant solution!
