Pan-fried turnip tapas are a classic accompaniment of the southern culinary tradition: very quick to prepare and very tasty and flavorful. We offer them in an even more gourmet variant, sautéed in a pan with chickpeas.
Turnip greens brushed with chickpeas, in addition to being a perfect accompaniment to meat and fish, can become an excellent seasoning for an autumn and winter starter. You can prepare them with pre-soaked and boiled dry chickpeas or, if you are in a hurry, with pre-cooked peas. The legume obviously also brings substance and protein to the recipe.
All you have to do is pick turnip greens from your garden and start lighting the stove!
