Pan-fried beets

Spring gives us delicious vegetables in the garden, especially beets or ribs. We can bring them to the table simply by boiling them and seasoning them with a pinch of salt and oil, but adding a few minutes of cooking over just boiling makes them a tasty side dish. This recipe makes it possible to use the ribs produced by the garden in a tasty and quick preparation: pan-fried stringy beets.

You can decide to make this dish with just the softer inner leaves, or use the outer leaves as well, with a larger portion of crispy white ribs – choose according to your taste.

For a colorful and scenic version of laced diets, diets with colored ribs can be used: in this way, not only the taste of the spring garden, but also its colors are brought to the table.
