Among all the pressure sprayers, the Solo 476 D Classic opts for a very particular design: like a backpack, it is carried with 2 straps, which makes its use considerably more pleasant over time. Especially since it incorporates a 10 L tank and therefore has a large capacity, enough to easily take care of large garden areas. It is also distinguished by its pump equipped with a special high-quality membrane, capable of perfectly resisting the abrasive nature of products such as herbicides, insecticides or even fungicides. This pump has also been designed to be flexible, which greatly limits the effort required. Thanks to the large spray hose (50 cm), maneuverability is at the same time optimal, and the device as a whole has been designed to incorporate few wearing parts and require minimum maintenance.
My opinion : This Solo 476 D Classic is one of the best sprayers I’ve had the opportunity to try! One of the things that impressed me the most is that the brand has really done a great job with the pump: it does not require any particular force to introduce the solution into the pipe and this is a very precious detail. But if it’s my favorite model, it’s mainly because it’s dorsal: as for the feeling of fatigue, that changes everything! You don’t have to carry it by hand or on your shoulder, and since its tank capacity is much better than most competitors, you also gain autonomy. To get rid of all the weeds in your garden or to eliminate the parasites that threaten your plants without getting too tired, this is clearly the one I recommend, especially since it is also very easy to use!

The essential tool for good garden maintenance! With a capacity of 5 L, Gloria Prima 5 is an ideal pressure sprayer for small and medium-sized areas, both for private individuals and for professionals (especially greenhouses and nurseries). My opinion : Reasonable budget, ease of use, impeccable functionality… This Gloria Prima is definitely good value for money! Of all the pressure sprayers I’ve had the opportunity to try, this is probably the most suitable for first-time buyers and the one that is likely to satisfy them. If this is your case, or you’re just looking for a new good quality model, you’ll be happy to know that one of its main advantages is that the pressure lasts long enough: you won’t have to pump all the 30 seconds ! Also, in terms of the solidity of the various elements, there is nothing to complain about, it’s fine. With a few centimeters more, the mouthpiece would have been even more useful and the bracelet would still benefit from being a little more comfortable (especially when filling the 5L tank), but obviously you can’t have everything… Despite everything, still a very good choice!

The most compact and handy version of the pressure sprayer! The Defenders 2L is a model that can be satisfied with a tank of only 2L but which has the same efficiency as the larger models. In particular, it has a pressure relief valve which makes it particularly effective when it comes to spreading herbicides or insecticides. Its nozzle also makes it possible to be extremely precise in the distribution, especially since it is adjustable: indeed, it can diffuse both a very fine mist and a slightly coarser mist. (It also has a trigger lock). The bottle is translucent for at-a-glance checking of how much solution is left and also features a liter measuring pin. Note that it is also perfectly resistant to frost and that its small size makes it easy to store between two uses.
My opinion : If you don’t have large areas to spray and are primarily looking for a small, inexpensive sprayer, this Defenders 2L should do the trick! Among all the most compact models, it is indeed one of the most interesting. The nozzle adjustment is obviously one of its standout features, but I also really liked that the trigger can be locked for continuous spraying. It remains much more comfortable in the hand and prevents muscle pain or fatigue. It’s not perfect, I noticed it tends to leak a bit at times and its mist sometimes drifts a little to the side, but those aren’t disqualifying details either. At this price and if you will not need it regularly, it does its job very well!
