Today we are going to see a tool to clean the “bad” weeds of the garden, to eliminate adventitious weeds from the corridors or terraces, but it is also useful for other spaces such as the areas of the garden where we don’t want them to grow.
Basically the weeds or the so-called weeds are those plants that grow either in the garden or in the surroundings, or on the ground or even on the asphalt or the patios of the houses, without us having planted them.

They’re not always bad
That these plants grow where we did not plant them does not mean that they are always bad, but sometimes. And it is precisely in these circumstances that we are interested in eliminating them from the garden, since they compete for resources with the plants that we intentionally cultivate.
As we have already explained in again, some of these plants can be positive for the garden, such as stinking clover, dandelion, nettle, chicken coop and nightshade. In addition to being plants that attract pollinatorsand therefore potential for a good harvest, some can be extremely useful to us.
This is the case with nettle, which can be used to prepare nettle porridgewhich will serve as a repellent against pests such as mites, white flywhich can become a real nightmare for the gardener, the red spider and aphids, in addition to being used to control fungi such as mildew and powdery mildew. In addition, as if that were not enough, this slurry is an excellent foliar fertilizer. So the “bad” on occasions like this should be in quotes.
Tool for removing or removing weeds
The tool that we are going to see today is very useful and I would dare to say that it is the best tool for removing weeds from the garden. There are many ways to remove weeds naturallybut probably none as fast and efficient as this one.
As seen in the video, it is a very comfortable tool for removing weeds. We won’t have to bend down or make a lot of effort. It’s a weeder they call a 3 prong tee, and it’s basically a garden claw with a weeder attached.

As I explain in the video, the claws are used to break up clods, helping to uproot invasive plants and loosen the soil, while the hoe removes weeds. Also in the video you can see that in a very short time, with a few simple movements back and forth, we clear the grass from the hallways.
I recommend using it when the ground is rather dry, and if it has rained it is better to wait about two days before using it. With wet soil, it will not be very easy to use it, so on days when the soil is not yet dry, I recommend waiting.
The tool handle, sold separately, is used precisely to avoid bending down or making an effort. Thanks to its length, it allows us to work more easily at a certain distance from the ground and helps us to have to make much less effort.

what to do with herbs
A lot of people wonder when I do this kind of articles and videos what to do with pulled weeds. I advise that after removing the weeds with the tool, they are thrown directly into the compost.
prevent them from leaving
It should be remembered that it is good to take into account how to prevent weeds from growing in the garden. Perhaps the most effective way is still the garden mulch or mulching, to avoid invasive weeds that compete with our crops for all the resources, both in the paths and on the terraces.
The ideal tool
In short, this tool is used to keep the corridors clean of weeds, to clean the cultivated terraces and to prepare the ground for future crops. What more can we ask of you?
