When the device runs out of battery, the fast charger charges the battery in about 30 minutes. The tool can be purchased with two types of batteries, one 2.0 Ah and one 4.0. The 4.0 Ah 56 volt lithium-ion battery is the best option if you plan to use the machine at high frequency. Although the battery is great, it still has its limitations, and that’s the only real downside to this device.
The juice is gone in an hour. There are other battery-powered chainsaws on the market with longer run times. In fairness, it should be mentioned that they are not as powerful as the EGO CS1400e. You will need to decide if you can compromise on the durations. This chainsaw does its job well, but not for long.
