Included with this EGO POWER+ HT2400 hedge trimmer is the 2.0 Ah capacity version of EGO’s large Arc 56V lithium battery. With the HT2400, that battery lasts about an hour, which is a good reminder to take a break from a full hour of scrubbing anyway. You will be amazed at how much you can do in an hour with this hedge trimmer. Equipped with 24-inch dual action hardened steel reciprocating blades at 3000 strokes per minute, the HT2400 cuts incredibly fast and clean with every contact. Too bad the blade is yellow because if it were red or blue we could easily pretend to wield a lightsaber.
It can cut up to ¾ inch with no problem, and to cut slightly thicker bushes you just need to tap the blade a few times. Safety features include finger guards and the awesome electric brake that stops the reciprocating blade as soon as you release the trigger.
