A phone built as solid as it is refined! With its Caterpillar S52, the brand offers the thinnest robust model on the market (only 9.69 mm thick) to combine utility and practicality. Slipping easily into a pocket, it requires no casing as it perfectly withstands repeated drops from a height of 1.50 m (even onto concrete) and can also be submerged up to 1.50 m for 35 minutes. My opinion : If there’s one area where we’re not necessarily expecting Caterpillar, it’s smartphones, but considering these are just feature phones, it makes sense. Moreover, I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised by this S52 which is of excellent quality. Although at first glance it does not seem like a super solid model, you only have to drop it to see that it is indeed. Not to mention its different capacities that make it extremely practical, for construction work and more. In addition to being thin, it is also very light (only 210 g) and if you want a model that does not disturb your habits too much, this is the one I would recommend.

My opinion : The Blackview that I presented to you just before did not convince you at all? In this case, this IIIF150 is a good alternative. Presented at a more or less equivalent price, it also offers excellent value for money. You have nothing to give up: you can drop it, expose it to dust or even submerge it in water and it will still work perfectly, like nothing. It is also of some interest thanks to its high-performance battery with excellent autonomy. On the aesthetic level, clearly the brand could have made it more elegant, but as it is not the most important, we will say that it does not count too much. It therefore remains a very good option, especially at this price and with all the technologies it incorporates!

My opinion : This Hammer H4 is the old-school build phone, no frills! If you keep your personal smartphone for privacy and for work you just have to call, then this model is perfect. Solidity level, he assures, the fact that it is not tactile is super practical and although it is equipped with keys, it is all the same perfectly waterproof and is not afraid of dust. It is clearly not the most efficient or the most technological, far from it: it is for example well equipped with a camera, but it is limited to 2 MP… On the other hand, it does its job well, it’s simple, easy to use and it’s not expensive. If that’s enough for you, he has good arguments to convince you!
