My opinion : The Einhell BT-LC 400/2 is a simple and effective log saw! As it only accepts pieces of wood with a diameter of 125 mm, it is mainly intended to create rods for your fireplace or your wood stove for example. And that’s why the brand wanted to create a machine that’s easy to use but totally safe, to reassure those interested! Once installed, it is a solid and stable tool which gives complete confidence thanks to technical characteristics such as the hooks which hold the piece of wood but above all the fact that the blade is only revealed when the table is tilted to saw. The rest of the time, stay protected! For even more practical use, we would have appreciated the presence of wheels to move the machine. But with the powerful 2200W motor, small pieces of wood can’t resist, so this is a log saw that does the job perfectly!

If it is delivered pre-assembled, you must however be accompanied by a second person to complete the assembly: once this step has been completed, however, there is only good! Accepting pieces of wood up to 150mm in diameter, it’s the perfect tool for creating strips for your fireplace or wood-burning stove at home, and it’s also very easy to master. The tilting system, the blade uncovering and retracting automatically according to the movements, is both reassuring and reassuring, and the blade, with its forty teeth, is very effective in cutting cleanly (which compensates for the absence of hooks to hold the piece of wood in place). Since it is finally stable and solid, it is really a log saw that gives complete satisfaction and that we use with pleasure!

If by its price, its size and its weight (and also a little because of its orange color which is very reminiscent of construction machinery…), it is rather considered as a professional tool, it nevertheless has all the necessary to convince others. With its maximum cutting diameter of 180 mm, it is the ideal size for firewood, and above all, its use is simple, fast and safe. The tilting element makes it possible to effectively position the pieces of wood, and it is always more reassuring to see the blade partially uncovered! The combination of the motor and the quality blade also allows for a clean and efficient cut, and the tool is very stable (although this is probably due to the fact that it still weighs nearly 70kg!). It is therefore a log saw full of qualities, which should be able to find its buyers!

The assembly is really fast and the power of the engine shows that we are in a professional range. The machine generally makes a lot of noise, but this is a more than acceptable detail given the work it does! With a price that is starting to be really high, it also shows that it is indeed equipment that is aimed above all at professionals in the sector, even if an individual may well want to have fun with it. this log saw as efficient as it is. is pleasant to handle. to carry!

The wood flow is fast, the cuts are excellent, the tilting table is practical and very maneuverable, and the blade shows no weakness, even when the trunks and branches start to thicken! Although this tool is equipped with wheels to facilitate its transport, we can also specify that it still weighs almost 130kg, which limits the movements that can be made with it, especially on floors that do not have of coating. . When it is placed somewhere, we tend to leave it there! Despite everything, it is a really high-performance log saw that has something to seduce even the most demanding professionals!
