My opinion : Fengda is a go-to brand when it comes to airbrush compressors and of all the great models from the brand, this FD-196 is my favorite. Do you want to know why? Quite simply because it combines performance and practicality. With its excellent pressure, it easily follows you in all your activities, whether you are passionate about modeling, tattooing or nail art. But it also loads very quickly, so you don’t waste time, its flow is constant, it makes practically no noise (in any case, it is forgotten) and to top it off, its double handle makes it super practical. . My opinion : If you’re looking for a reliable, professional-grade airbrush compressor that you can trust in all circumstances, this is the Sparmax for you. Although at first glance it does not seem to be the most efficient with its flow rate of 4 bars, it nevertheless surprises with its performance as soon as it is started up and used. Its recharging is incredibly fast, its flow rate is perfectly constant and its manufacturing quality is truly irreproachable, both in its various elements and in its protective layer. Thanks to its 2 outputs, it also has a feature that few devices offer, which makes it even more attractive. I really only have good things to say and if you are willing to spend some money to get a professional and powerful machine, you can go for this one!

It has all the essential technical features such as a 3L air tank, pressure regulator and automatic shut-off system to guarantee user safety. Thanks to its 4 adjustable bars, it is suitable for both leisure and certain professional activities, especially since it adapts to all standard size guns (with nozzle from 0.2 to 1 mm). True to the brand’s models, it finally has the advantage of being quite quiet (only 47 dB in operation) and of being both light and compact (about thirty centimeters and only 5 kg) to be used wherever we need it.
My opinion : I wanted to select this Fengda FD-186 for you because it has almost all the functionalities and technical characteristics of the FD-196 (which is my favorite) but at a more affordable price. The main difference between these two versions is that it goes down to 4 bars of pressure instead of 6, but for airbrushing at home, for hobbies, or even for cosmetics, it’s usually more than enough. For the rest, it has the same assets that seduced me from the other, namely, a fairly fast recharge, an entirely acceptable and bearable noise, a constant flow rate as well as the presence of a large handle to move at will. If it weren’t for its tendency to heat up a little at times, it’s a good device, and it’s also the one that offers the best value for money in my eyes.

Indeed, the little noise it produces is its main asset, but what is significant is that it is not satisfied with that. I also found it efficient, pleasant to use and quite versatile. It is a real pleasure to use, it is very easy to adjust and like the other models in this selection, I have no complaints about the regularity of its flow. Whatever activity you need it for (even if it is a professional activity), it is a very good choice!
